The Player File
Battleball is the one important thing Chase believes he earned. His family bought the training, equipment, and access. They could not win the Core for him.
Charles “Crash” Carmichael
House Centaurus Blitzer · Jersey 16 · Shangrila University
Blitzers are the only players allowed to cross the entire field.
A good collegiate specialist wins about six of ten contests. Chase wins more than seven.
Top collegiate Blitzer for two straight competition cycles.
The number belongs on the back. CENTAURUS stays across the front.
Why “Crash”?
He earned the nickname by running at the first opening he sees, even when a defender is standing in it. Chase likes contact, accelerates fast, and keeps carries alive through hits that stop other players. He passes when a teammate has the better play. He also believes almost every play has one more step in it.
The Perfect Draw
In his collegiate debut, Chase won every face-off against a veteran side. They changed the Blitzer across from him. It did not help.
Every Draw. Every Challenger.
Acceleration, timing, grip, and a sharp read on the Core's release give Centaurus first usable possession in most formal restarts.
Possession Before the Formation Settles
Every quarter starts at midfield. Every score sends the Core back. Winning those contests lets Centaurus attack before the other team is set.
Strength & Risk
The same confidence that breaks a defense can carry Chase straight into a trap.
Strengths
- Exceptional endurance and acceleration
- Elite reactions at the Core release
- Reliable grip and Core control
- Composure when play becomes chaotic
- Difficult to tackle cleanly in open ground
- Forces several defenders to commit, creating lanes for Strikers
Weaknesses
- Overconfidence in the first running lane he sees
- Commits before reading the complete defensive formation
- Believes a broken play can survive one more step
- Can carry himself too deep for a safe pass or retreat
- Hydra can provoke his temper more effectively than any other House
- Refuses to leave when hurt until someone else makes the decision

The Future
One trophy is still missing. One professional career is waiting.
The Five Houses Cup
Chase plans to turn professional and stay with Centaurus. A larger offer is not likely to move him. First, he wants the Five Houses Cup. On the field, he is not Isaac Carmichael's heir or anyone's project. He is number sixteen, waiting for the Core to rise.
